“Look mommy!”
I turned around from my work-from-home spot (the new normal for many of us) and I saw the most beautiful and creative thing.
My 8-year-old daughter, Lauren, had created a beautiful beach scene on one of her tank tops! I was able to take a little trip to paradise looking at her tank top. I thought of the warm beach sand, the beautiful sunlight, the birds, coconuts 🥥 and palm trees 🌴.
It also always amazes me to see how well my girls can draw free-handedly…especially because I was never good at drawing.
I share this story with you to encourage you all to be creative and create as many fantastic and memorable experiences as possible during this time where we all have to stay indoors to prevent catching Coronavirus.
