Giving Does Not Have To Be Monetary!

I think we forget that we can give in ways that are not monetary. We can give

our service to others. This can be done via volunteering to help others in some way. Don’t think that your time and effort is not a gift because it truly is.

I thought of this as I signed my children up to serve. They give to our church by serving as altar servers. The priests and other religious leaders at our church count on altar servers to get the Bible and the trays and vials that carry the holy communion (bread and wine); to name just a few of their tasks.

I want to share the picture below of my two daughters (pictured side-by-side) giving the gift of their altar service at our church.
